The 17 Hartwell Avenue development is a 312 unit, five-story, for-rent residential with a precast garage and stand-alone retail building. The project is the first of a new mixed-use district with an engaging public realm along Hartwell Ave. The project’s various outdoor amenities, include an “active” courtyard off the lobby entrance with a pool, lounge, grill and exercise areas; a second “quiet” garden courtyard for individuals and small groups; a dog run, and an infant playground strategically located next to the stand-alone retail building.  Ample bike parking provides the opportunity to live here and connect to the nearby regional Minuteman Commuter Bikeway for work or pleasure. Much of the existing woodland on the site has been preserved to create a buffer to the back side of the development.
