Christian is a founding principal of Lemon Brooke with over 20 years of experience as a landscape architect. He is a 5th generation Californian and a native of Marin County and Lake Tahoe. Christian has lived and practiced in Northern and Southern California, Southeast Asia, China, and travels often to Scandinavia to visit family. In 2011, he and his family moved to New England and now splits his time between both coasts.

 

Christian received his Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and his Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona where he was awarded the American Society of Landscape Architects Certificate of Merit for excellence in the study of landscape architecture. Born in 1971 as the son of an inventor, his early years were influenced by an open atmosphere of building, testing and rebuilding. This experience combined with living on both coasts, practicing nationally and internationally; has helped Christian create a portfolio of national award winning work that includes urban parks, plazas, schools, resorts and private residences. He has worked in over 10 countries,  18 states and is a licensed landscape architect in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine, Massachusetts  and Pennsylvania.

 

When not in the office, Christian can be found spending time with his three children, working with his hands crafting art projects, and pursuing his love for the outdoors through skiing, biking and hiking.
