This LEED Gold project focuses on re-positioning a unique mid-century modern office building in the competitive 2019 real estate market. Building on the concrete and steel vocabulary of the existing building, the outdoor improvements extend an updated mid-century modern vocabulary into the landscape. The site improvements include a new vehicular drop-off, entry plaza, roof deck and upgrades to all building entries.
The entry plaza is the center of activity for employees interested in outdoor dining, bocce ball, a fire pit, food truck service, and socializing in an informal amphitheater. An event lawn allows enough space for corporate gatherings and informal parties.The sky terrace, at the top of the building, is more contemplative with fabulous long distance views to the surrounding landscape and programmed for outdoor meetings and individuals to work and / or find some downtime.
