FIS Headquarters

Jacksonville, FL

Known for bringing  strong sense of identity and deep understanding of commercial clients' needs, LEMON BROOKE is working with the architects of Gensler's Houston office to create a new home base for FIS, a growing financial technology company in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently a parking lot along the St. John River, the largest in Florida, the site will join adjacent developed parcels and be transformed into a world-class headquarters.  Adjacent to a public Riverwalk and small park where people can bike, stroll, or put water craft into the rIver, the landscape for the project will integrate these amenities into the everyday experiences of the people that come to work here every day, while still maintaining spaces that serve the privacy needs of the client.

Landscape features include a completely revised street-scape leading into the site and the park beyond, with iconic planting and water features. The building gracefully meets the weeping willows at the edge of the River, with an inviting auto-court, meeting areas and outdoor patios, all overlooking the RIverwalk and beyond. From the upper terrace, where employees may dine, attend meetings, or join larger gatherings in a shaded and generously planted outdoor oasis, the views up and down the river create a memorable working environment for FIS and their clients.
