Shiyu Zeng, Designer
Shiyu is passionate about creating adaptive and sustainable spaces for clients, places that bring people together and are beneficial for the environment. Shiyu joined LEMON BROOKE after receiving her Master of Landscape Architecture Degree at the Boston Architectural College. She also earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at Hubei Institute of Fine Art in China prior to coming to New England.
While at the Earthos Institute, she worked on the “Knitting the Alewife” Sasaki Grant Project, where she learned about periodic and permanent flood risks for sea level rise, storm surge, and deluge rain that impacted sites of coastal New England. In China, she had two summer internships working at AECOM Shanghai Office and Design Land Collaborative.
Besides her studies and professional work, Shiyu loves to explore places and landscape designs all over the world, from the vertical gardens in Singapore to the High Line in New York City. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, going to museums, and learning about different cultures. At home, she can be found playing with her cat, JoJo.
